  • IAS Accounting XAC11: Unit 1 only. IAL Accounting YAC11: Units 1 and 2. Units may be taken in stages or at the end of the course.

  • Accounting principles, bookkeeping, controls and financial statements
  • Costing, analysis and ethical accounting
  • Companies, investment ratios and cash flows
  • Budgeting, standard costing, appraisal and management accounting

Key assessment information

  • Both units are externally assessed and permit calculators. Each has two compulsory 55-mark questions plus three 30-mark questions from a choice of four; a resource booklet accompanies the paper.
