Course structure and assessment routes
- AS: Papers 1, 2 and 3, covering topics 1–11 and practical skills.
- A Level: all five papers, adding topics 12–25. Take them together or complete Papers 4 and 5 after an eligible AS result.

- AS: quantities, mechanics, materials, waves and superposition
- AS: electricity, circuits and particle physics
- A Level: circular motion, fields, thermal physics and oscillations
- A Level: capacitance, magnetism and alternating currents
