Revision should move like one continuous route.
IGCSEfy was built to keep subject, syllabus, past papers, progress, and AI inside one study rhythm. The aim is to remove restart cost, so revision keeps moving instead of repeatedly breaking into separate tasks.
Why it exists
Revision breaks when the route feels fragmented.
The page should behave like the product itself: one uninterrupted surface that carries the student forward, without visual resets or stacked blocks making the experience feel chopped into parts.
01
Paper code first, not guesswork.
Students should land in the exact subject lane before energy gets wasted on vague categories, wrong variants, or friction that appears before revision has even begun.
02
The syllabus should behave like a path.
Topics work better when they arrive in sequence. The structure should carry the student forward instead of forcing them to rebuild order from a loose list of disconnected labels.
03
Past papers should open with context already locked in.
Core, extended, calculator, question paper, mark scheme. The right frame should already be visible before solving begins, so the session starts inside the work rather than around it.
04
Progress has to stay visible between sessions.
Revision feels lighter when the system remembers where the student is and makes the next move obvious instead of resetting the entire mental stack every time they come back.
05
AI should help students continue, not leave the flow.
Support matters when revision stalls. The right answer is assistance inside the same route, not another detour disguised as help.
From the founder
Built by someone still inside the pressure.
I am Ebrahim Tariq, a 16-year-old Cambridge IGCSE student. IGCSEfy was shaped while I was revising for the same exams, so the structure comes from real friction: lost context, broken flow, and too much time spent getting back on track.
The goal was never to add more study tools. It was to reduce the space between them and make the next step feel obvious.
Revision should feel like a route you stay inside, not a set of pages you keep having to rebuild in your head.
What stays true
Paper code first. Sequence over clutter.
Past papers in context. Progress you can feel.
AI that helps you recover without leaving the flow.
Where it goes next
Keep the system sharp. Make the path smarter. Built for longer revision journeys.
The direction stays the same: less clutter, more clarity, stronger guidance, and study tools that feel like part of one world instead of separate pages.
